Lake Garda (the watersports spot at approx. 45.8737°N, 10.8814°E) is located at the northern tip of Lake Garda, in the Garda Trentino region of northern Italy, centred around the village of Nago-Torbole. The spot is world-famous for its two reliable daily thermal winds: the **Pelèr** (N), blowing from north to south in the morning, and the **Ora** (S), a thermal wind blowing from south to north from midday into the late afternoon. Morning sessions with the Pelèr offer flat water conditions, while the afternoon Ora brings chop and bump-and-jump conditions with waves up to one metre. The northern section of the lake is the primary riding area for windsurfers and wingfoilers, while kitesurfers have designated zones further south near Malcesine and Limone. There is an exceptionally high density of surf schools and rental centres on-site, including **Surf Segnana** (at Foce del Sarca, Torbole), **Duotone Pro Center Torbole** (on the Conca d'Oro beach), and **Surf Center Lido Blu**, all offering lessons and equipment hire for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and SUP. Gear shops such as Shaka (in the centre of Torbole) supply equipment and surf clothing, and the village of Torbole itself has numerous bars, restaurants, and cafés directly on the waterfront.
