Aruba
Fisherman's Huts (also known as Hadicurari Beach) is located on the northwest coast of Aruba, just north of Palm Beach and the Marriott Aruba Resort, situated between the Ritz-Carlton Resort and Malmok Beach, on the calm, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The spot is driven by Aruba's persistent northeast trade winds, which blow predominantly from the east/northeast almost year-round at 15–25 knots (strongest May–July), making the wind effectively offshore/side-offshore at this beach — reliable but gusty. The water is extremely shallow and flat close to shore (chest-deep or less for several hundred meters), ideal for beginners and freestylers, while further out small chop develops for more advanced riding; windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and SUP are all practiced here. On-site infrastructure is well developed: Vela Sports Aruba (Vela Aruba) is a long-established windsurf and watersports center directly on the beach offering lessons, equipment rental, and gear for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, e-foiling, and SUP; Aruba Kitesurfing School and Fisherman's Huts Windsurf Center are also present at the spot. The beach hosts the annual Aruba Hi-Winds Tournament, the largest windsurfing competition in the Caribbean; no dedicated on-site restaurant/beach club is documented directly at the huts, though nearby resort hotels provide food and beverage options.
